Purposeful Playroom Refresh

Client’s Goal

This growing family wanted to reclaim their shared living space while still giving their kids a fun and functional area to play. With a baby on the way, the goal was to set up sustainable systems that could grow with them—and contain the toy sprawl.

Our Solution

Building on their existing foundation, we created intentional play zones for building, arts and crafts, and creative play. We combined two of our favorite playroom staples—IKEA’s Kallax and Trofast systems—to offer the perfect mix of hidden and visible storage. Clear bins made it easy for kids to find what they need, while closed bins helped reduce visual clutter. The end result is a playful, peaceful space that supports both fun and function.

Tidy Play, Happy Days

Client’s Goal

After birthdays, holidays, and life with growing kids, this playroom was ready for a reset. The goal was to simplify storage, reduce clutter, and create systems that made it easy for the whole family to maintain.

Our Solution

We started by editing down and repackaging. Bulky game boxes were swapped for slim project cases—our go-to space-saving trick—and puzzles were neatly contained in labeled zip pouches. With a place for everything—and a label to match—the system is simple to follow and maintain. The result is a refreshed space that’s easy on the eyes and simple to keep up.
