Personalized Primary Closet
Client’s Goal
The client wanted their primary closet to feel less crowded and more intuitive. Everyday pieces were getting lost behind rarely worn items, and much of the shelving wasn’t being used to its full potential. They also needed a better spot to store accessories that often ended up scattered or tucked away in drawers.
Our Solution
We reworked the layout to bring clarity and flow to the space. Shelving was adjusted for better functionality and visual balance, allowing us to create distinct zones for daily wear, accessories, and seasonal or occasion-based pieces. A new accessory shelf was added to keep belts, bags, and smaller items visible and easy to grab. By shifting less frequently worn clothing out of the spotlight, we gave prime real estate to the items that are part of the client’s daily routine.
The result is a closet that feels open, purposeful, and easy to maintain—just the way a primary closet should.

Personalized Primary Closet
Client’s Goal
After downsizing from a suburban home to a Chicago high-rise, this busy professional needed her new closet to work smarter, not bigger. The goal was to create structure, maximize vertical space, and make daily outfit selection effortless—especially with her schedule full of business meetings, workouts, and events.
Our Solution
We added shelving and shelf dividers to keep items upright and accessible, then introduced shoe stackers to double up on storage without sacrificing visibility. Clothing was sorted by type and color—business, evening, and athletic wear—making the space easy to navigate. To complete the system, we installed a valet rod so she could plan outfits for upcoming events and travel with ease.
Now, her closet supports her fast-paced lifestyle with streamlined storage and a setup that makes getting ready feel simple and serene.
